Audi R8 Coupe Reviewed: It’s Gorgeous

If you’re in the market for a new sports car, then you needn’t look much further than an Audi R8 Coupe. This is arguably the hottest vehicle in the game right now. Legendary Arsenal ‘keeper Petr Cech once sported one of these hot wheels. However, now there’s a new model out, and we’re here to review it for you. HINT! (It’s gorgeous).

The R8 is a magnificent feat of engineering. The German manufacturer has done incredibly well to place such a beast of an engine inside such a slim and light figure of an outer shell.  The design is spectacular. This is notably due to its incredible aerodynamics, allowing it to zoom faster down the motorway than ever before. The new vehicle feels flatter, lighter but more muscular this time around, and that is certainly evident when driving it. It’s actually 50KG lighter than the previous R8, and you can really tell by how it performs on the road. Acceleration is much faster and response times are more, well, responsive. This is a beautiful, beautiful vehicle, one that definitely deserves to be looked after. If you’re one of those people who avoids going to the trouble of washing their car like the plague, then getting such an expensive sports car is not for you. The Audi R8 Coupe deserves respect. So if you’re going to pick one up, treat it well – check out these car wash coupons and keep it glistening on that driveway of yours. The neighbours will certainly be jealous of this powerful monster of a car.

Furthermore, when you get to the interior, Audi delivers once again. The cockpit is a mix of gorgeous upholstery and ingenious technological innovations. The sports seats are incredibly comfortable, even at long distances. The seats feature electronic adjustment, heating and lumbar support, which acts in a similar way to that of a memory foam pillow. The comfort Audi has managed to create is simply unrivalled. It really feels like you’re at the driving seat of a race car, with all of the plush comforts of something more commercial.

Audi describes the R8 Coupe as a ‘track car that’s built for the road’, and this is certainly evident in its performance. There is an optional extra for laser high-beam LED headlights, too. These are incredibly aesthetically pleasing, and functional. LED headlights are far more energy efficient in comparison to their halogen equivalents, too. So, you could save yourself a bit of money as well as a bit of the environment. Audi claims the headlights are three times brighter than conventional ones, and this is more than believable. The striking, piercing effect of the LEDs looks spectacular in the dark, especially in rainy weather. That said, it by no means startles oncoming drivers, ensuring the vehicle remains incredibly safe. There is also some cutting edge technology at the steering wheel, as standard. From the one location, you can access your steering, performance mode, gear changes and even engine start right from the wheel. This enables you to control almost everything right from one place. Impressive.

Overall, we love the Audi R8 Coupe. If you can afford, then this is a sound investment. Plus, it’s a whole lot of fun to drive! Let us know what you make of it in the comments below. Oh, and please, look after it!
